After the 1940s, the Atlantean royal went dormant for more than a decade with exception to brief revival in the mid-1950s. In 1962, Sub-Mariner resurfaced in an early Fantastic Four issue. He then shared space with Hulk in the Tales to Astonish series. In a 1968 Marvel Comics growth spurt, he began starring in his own title, and this is the first issue, of a 72-issue Bronze age solo run. Held by the original owner since 1968, this lovingly secluded comic is fresh back from grading submission with a CGC rating of (7.0, Off-White to White Pages).
