Readers got a lot more bang for the buck back in the day when Marvel's anthology title Marvel Tales hit the newsstands in 1964. That's because these giant-size Silver Age issues were crammed with multiple stories. Even though this classic stories were reprinted, they were taken from the ranks of Marvel's most important characters with Spider-Man being the most prevalent. Several of the earliest issues retold the origins of Spidey, The X-Men, The Avengers, Dr. Strange, and more.
