The NFL has faced competition from many rival leagues over the years. One of the earlier upstarts, was the 1936-1937 American Football League, which fielded teams for just two seasons. Souvenirs from this ancient pro football league are of course, in very short supply. An extremely rare example surfaces here, with this 10/31/37 Cincinnati Bengals Vs. Rochester Tigers ticket. This Halloween treat was issued for a game at Cincinnati's venerable Crosley Field. The bearer could exchange this antique voucher, along with 25 cents, for a general admission ticket in a special high school section, with the stipulation the bearer must be "a bonafide grade or High School student". Condition of this rare relic is (VG), and all printed text remains bold, on somewhat crisp paper stock.

Opening Bid $200.
