Going into their annual season finale rivalry match-up, Army and Navy both boasted fantastic records in 1926. Navy was 9-0 heading into the 11/27/26 Army-Navy Game, and Army was 7-1, with the only blemish on their record coming at the hands of Notre Dame's Knute Rockne and the Fighting Irish. Get a solid grasp on this ancient game with this selection of (3) gameday souvenirs.

Extra fanfare was piled on this "Clash of the Military School Titan," as noted on the (2) ticket stubs and (1) program comprising this offering. Printed on the face of the ticket stubs is "Formal Dedication of Soldier Field." The program elaborates a bit, touting "National Dedication Services of Soldier Field, November 27, 1926, Chicago." Of course, Soldier Field was so named in honor of those who fell during WWI, so the Army-Navy Game was the most appropriate match-up for this dedication service. Typically the two service academies met on neutral turf somewhere between West Point and Annapolis, most frequently in Philadelphia. To date, this remains their only meeting in Chicago.

The program and one of the stubs are handsomely mounted in a 13x19 frame, and both items present in very pleasing state. The other stub is (GD) due to a vertical compacting fold at center, otherwise it is also very attractive.
