It was a banner year for Mark Teixeira in 2009, when he was the main power supply for the World Series champion New York Yankees. Manning first base for the Yankees, this slugger led all of baseball in home runs and RBI in ’09. Teixeira also made the AL All-Star team, finished second in AL MVP voting, and earned both a Gold Glove Award and a Silver Slugger Award. A good bit of Teixeira’s offensive output came with the offered 2009 game-used bat in his capable hands.



This two-tone Louisville Slugger bat is a model M287, with “Mark Teixeira” and “New York Yankees” lettered in silver on the barrel. Stamped into the knob are the production date “4/16/09”, and “34/32 OZ,” with Teixeira’s uniform number “25” written over these knob stampings. Authentic use is outstanding, with a handle crack noted as having been secured.
