Long-suffering Brooklyn fans were riding high after the Dodgers won their first ever World Series in 1955. The thrill ride continued in 1956, as the “Boys of Summer” earned a repeat trip to the Fall Classic. It must have been a great treat for Elten Schiller, who was issued the 1956 Brooklyn National League Baseball Club, Inc. season pass offered here. Schiller was a longtime executive in the Dodgers minor league system who was serving as GM of the St. Paul Saints at the time. This crisp pass is nicely preserved and presents EX-MT details, with deference to a very light bend crease at the lower-left corner. A Walter O'Malley facsimile signature is located at bottom-right, and the pass is numbered “ML 322”. A list of the Dodgers affiliate teams is printed on the back, and this pass granted Schiller access to all of them, along with the big league club games at Ebbets Field.

Opening Bid $150.
