The Hall of Fame picked a real winner as part of its 40th Anniversary celebration. Said winner is the great Mickey Mantle, who is seen at left on the offered single-signed cachet, which features the legend “40 Years Cooperstown”. Mantle has signed (“7.5”) at right, just below the Cooperstown, N.Y. cancellation postmark dated 6/12/79. PSA/DNA has encapsulated this single-signed commemorative, with an (Authentic) designation.
