The "City of Brotherly Love" was blowing up with Bicentennial celebrations during the Summer of 1976. For sports fans, it was the MLB All-Star Game that topped all the fireworks, parades, concerts, and other hoopla. Played at rowdy Veterans Stadium on 7/13/76, the Mid-Summer Classic saw a decisive 7-1 victory for the Senior Circuit.
