Extraordinary 1909-1913 M101-2 Sporting News Supplements near set of (87/100) players. Unless noted, each big leaguer is affixed double-sided into a period “The Nonpareil” scrapbook. The oversized 8x10 supplements are neatly placed on the pitch-black pages of the 10x12 cloth covered volume. Despite moderate storage wear, creasing and fraying to the supplements throughout, the players have largely withstood the century in fine shape. While multiple pages are loose and partially separated, the overall construction of the scrapbook is still intact. A selection of reverses are present and each displays a previous owner’s stamp.
