7/28/88 Harper's Weekly complete issue with "A Ball or a Strike" cover illustration, appears to have been removed from a bound volume, with traces of binding adhesive on the spine. Shows VG-EX details with deference to the centerfold being detached.
1/12/89 Harper's Weekly cover only, with "Farmer Stebbins at the Bat" illustration, is matted in handsome state to overall dimensions of 18x14.
11/9/89 Harper's weekly cover only, with Buck Ewing illustration is crisp an clean, showing EX+ details with deference to a light horizontal fold, and neatly trimmed edges.
8/29/91 Leslie's Illustrated cover only, with "The Struggle for the League Championship" illustration shows GD details, and is matted to overall dimensions of 20x15.
9/16/97 Leslie's Weekly complete issue with Nap Lajoie at the Polo Grounds cover illustration, is crisp and appealing, showing VG+ details. Also shows evidence of having been removed from a bound volume. Interestingly, the home plate is square and set on a diamond bias, and this was just second season for Lajoie.
