In light of the favorable reception of the recent hit film Oppenheimer, it seems a perfect time to turn your attention to Edward Teller. Like J. Robert Oppenheimer, Teller was a prominent theoretical physicist, who was instrumental in the creation of weapons of mass destruction. Known as "The Father of the Hydrogen Bomb," the Hungarian-American scientist worked with Oppenheimer at Los Alamos. Teller left in 1946, but returned to Los Alamos in 1950, when President Truman moved the development of the H-Bomb to the front burner, following the Soviet Union's detonation of an atomic bomb in 1949. Fire up your autograph collection with this Teller-signed photo display. Measuring 3 x 3-1/2", this glossy, black-and-white photo is mounted on an 8-1/2 x 10-1/2" backer with brief biographical information typed at top. Teller's blue ballpoint pen signature rates as an ("8.5") strength example. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.

Opening Bid $25.
