Let's see, the Giants moved from New York to San Francisco in 1958. They celebrated their 25th Anniversary in the City by the Bay in 1982, and now 42 years after that, relics from the occasion can properly be called vintage. One such vintage item surfaces here, with this Atlee Hammaker-signed, game-used 1982 San Francisco Giants jersey. This origin of this vibrant orange pullover is accurately dated by a celebratory 25th Anniversary patch on the left sleeve. A Wilson size "44" label resides inside the collar, and Hammaker's name and number patches are seen on the back. Hammaker's uniform number "17" is positioned on the front as well with the Giants logo above, and his ("7") black felt-tip marker autograph below. Eliminating any other doubts are a small "82" tag sewn onto the left front tail and a stamp on the interior of the tail that reads "Purchased From San Francisco Giants." Signs of use/wear are light, and the jersey presents in outstanding condition. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. Opening Bid $100.
