On their way to their first Silver Age solo titles, a couple of popular super-heroes made a brief space-sharing appearance in a 4/68 one-shot issue, under the no nonsense title "Iron Man and Sub-Mariner." Held by the original owner since he scored it at his local newsstand back in 1968, this nicely preserved comic book has just returned from CGC with a rating of (6.5, Off-White to White Pages). Label notes include "Roy Thomas and Archie Goodwin stories, Gene Colan, Johnny Craig and Frank Giacoia art, Colan and Everett cover." This prized one-shot predates Iron Man #1 and Sub-Mariner #1, which are both dated 5/68.
