Give your nod of approval to this group of (3) 1960s NFL square base bobble head dolls, all with red foil Japan stickers under the base. Among the earliest football bobble heads issued, these ball-toting wobblers are attractive, though one has been repaired.

Featured are:

Baltimore Colts blue square base with NFL Shield logo sticker on top of the base, and raised jersey letters, is a well-preserved example, that is downgraded to (EX-MT) due to factory flaws. The paint on the blue helmet stripe extends onto the white helmet on both sides, with color breaks that suggest uneven factory application of the blue, as opposed to being the result of wear. There are also a dimple on the back of the jersey, indentation flaws on the seat of the pants, and rippled paint on the face, will all of these conditions presenting as production issues.

New York Giants red square base with NFL Shield logo sticker on top of the base, and raised jersey letters, has a significant repair on the helmet, with an interior crack outlining the extent of the restoration. The exterior paint colors are properly matched, however the outline of the repair is readily apparent. Otherwise this piece is appealing, in showing borderline NM details.

Pittsburgh Steelers black square base has raised jersey letters, and is a fairly pleasing (EX-MT) example, with deference to a somewhat irregular edge on the right side of the base, and a streak of very minor paint breaks on the helmet behind the left ear.

Opening Bid $100.
