20th Century Renaissance Man Paul Robeson graces the auction scene with this offered autographed cut. A renowned singer, stage and movie actor, Robeson (d.1976) was also a determined political activist, who earned a degree from Columbia Law School. Before all that, Robeson was an All-American football star at Rutgers who went on to the NFL in the early 1920s. The offered Robeson autograph is an ("8") strength example located on a 4" x 1-1/4" cut, accompanied by the salutation "Kindest wishes to you."
