Vintage 1894 N302 Mayo's Cut Plug collection featuring a pair of football cards and an original tobacco tin. The nineteenth century advertising tin for "Mayo's Cut Plug Tobacco-For Smoking and Chewing" measures 8 x 3-3/4 x 5" and has survived the century is fine condition with expected, but not overwhelming rust and abrasions throughout. The tin is outlined with the Greek Key design around each of the four sides and the top is furnished with a wire handle for ease in carrying. The tin is trademark dated to Sept. 1878 on the Mayo’s logo. The 1894 N302 Mayo's Cut Football cards include the following players: 1.) Mackie (FR, reverse residue, Harvard) and 2.)
