When fierce slugger George Foster strode to the plate, he was a most unwelcome sight for opposing pitchers. After a decade of pummeling NL hurlers with great frequency, Foster was still going strong in 1984 when he wielded this Worth Tennessee Thumper bat. Sporting a black finish and gold graphics, this gamer exhibits light to moderate authentic use, and identifiable player use characteristics. There’s a crack on the handle about 4” up from the knob and Foster’s uniform number “15” is written in white on the knob. Also seen on the knob are the stamped-in model number “WC117,” and initials “GF.” These conditions and characteristics have added up to a PSA/DNA grade of (GU 8). Full LOA from John Taube-PSA/DNA. Opening Bid $250.
