Fan favorite “Tug” McGraw reaches out from the “Field of Dreams” with this 1981 game-used Philadelphia Phillies road pants. Tug got the last out of the 1980 World Series by striking out Willie Wilson, endearing himself to a generation of long-suffering fans. From the strike-shortened 1981 season, comes this pair of McGraw game-worn pants. Labeled Wilson size “34” inside the waistband, these powder blue road pants saw action in approximately 16 games that year, and show moderate wear/use, including the absence of the button from the rear-left pocket, and light soiling/staining on the front and back. Also located inside the waistband is an identifier tag that reads “McGraw 81 1 23” for the player, season, uniform set number, and inseam measurement. Comes with LOA from Phil Wood.

Also present is a custom Wilson size “38” pullover Phillies #45 jersey. McGraw’s number “45” appears on the back and left sleeve. Phillies lettering spans the front and McGraw's name is arched across the back in letter patches. The Wilson factory label inside the collar remains securely attached, and overall, this jersey presents handsomely with deference to a spot of soiling on the front, near the right sleeve. Opening Bid $150.
