In a newly expanded 10-team National League, the St. Louis Cardinals fielded a fine squad in 1962 that included Bob Gibson, Stan Musial, Curt Flood, Larry Jackson, Ken Boyer and Bill White. Competition was fierce however, and the Cards had to settle for 6th place, with a record of 84-78, that may well have landed them in the postseason under today's playoffs scheme. The stars named above are all present and accounted for with the 1962 Cardinals team-signed baseball presented here. This period signed ball is an ONL/Giles model in (EX+) condition, showcasing a total of (25) autographs ranging ("4" to "8") in potency.
