Things were looking sunny and bright for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1962. The franchise moved into its new digs at Dodger Stadium, and the Dodgers had already matched the number of World Series wins while stationed in Brooklyn, with a Los Angeles championship in 1959. An impressive total of 101 wins just wasn't enough in '62 however, as the San Francisco Giants tallied the same regular-season number of wins as the Dodgers, and then bested them in a 3-game tie-breaker. Supremely rich in pitching, the Dodgers went all the way the following season, beating the mighty New York Yankees in the '63 World Series, while demonstrating the West Coast agreed with them in big way. Many of the same great players who won the championship in 1963, have taken part in the signing of the offered 1962 Dodgers team-signed ball. This period signed ONL/Giles ball (EX-MT+) hosts a total of (27) autographs, which average ("6-7") strength, with:

Sweet spot: Walt Alston (HOF, manager) and Leo Durocher (HOF, coach);

North panel: Ron Fairly, "Duke" Snider (HOF), Doug Camilli, Tim Harkness, Wally Moon, Greg Mulleavy (coach) and Stan Williams;

South panel: Pete Reiser (coach), Larry Burright, Sandy Koufax (HOF), Willie Davis, Johnny Podres, Pete Richert, Tommy Davis and Ed Roebuck;

East panel: Norm Sherry, John Roseboro, Darryl Spencer, Phil Ortega, Lee Walls and Andy Carey;

West panel: Maury Wills, Frank Howard, Don Drysdale (HOF) and Ron Perranoski.
