The cream of baseball's 1936 crop rises here, with these (2) Joe DiMaggio and Bob Feller dual-signed photographs. DiMaggio posted one of the greatest rookie campaigns in history, which ended with him wearing his first of nine World Series rings. Just 17 at the time, Feller arrived in mid-season, and his earliest starts were astonishing, including a game that saw him strikeout 17 Philadelphia Athletics, to tie "Dizzy" Dean's single-game record. Though WWII cost both of the revered Hall of Famers significant playing time, they consistently ranked among the league leaders when they were in baseball uniforms. Judging from these crisp, clean 8x10 photos, autograph signing came naturally to these all-time greats, with all (4) of their blue felt-tip pin signatures rating as average ("9-10") strength examples. One photo pictures DiMaggio and Feller as 1936 rookies; while the other photo sees them facing each in the 4th inning of a scoreless game, on 4/30/46 at Yankee Stadium. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.

Opening Bid $150.
