Space exploration enthusiasts blast off for a thrilling collecting adventure, with this Vladimir Komarov signed postcard. This heroic Soviet Cosmonaut was the first to command a spaceflight manned by more than a single crew member, when he, Konstantin Feoktistov, and Boris Yegorov went into space aboard Voskhod 1, on 10/12/64. Komarov was also the first Cosmonaut to fly into space twice, however his second flight aboard Soyuz 1 ended in tragedy, as he died when his spacecraft crashed into the Earth upon re-entry on 4/24/67, due to a parachute failure. His untimely demise marks the first time a human being died during a spaceflight mission. Attired in his highly decorated military uniform, Komarov rightfully looks proud in this unused CCCP real photo postcard, which he has signed at upper-right. PSA/DNA encapsulated with a (NM-MT 8) autograph grade.
