Looking at the Brooklyn Dodgers roster during Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson's ten years with the team, it's mystifying that they didn't win the pennant every single season. As it was, the Dodgers won 6 trips to the World Series during Robinson's 1947-1956 tenure. Robinson was vital, but many other great players were involved, including Hall of Famers "Duke" Snider, Roy Campanella, "Pee Wee" Reese, and Gil Hodges, and the rest of the squad was far from shabby.

Chills and thrills continue to mount, as you examine the names present on the offered 1948 Dodgers team-signed baseball. This period signed ONL/Frick ball hosts a total of (27) autographs, averaging ("7-8") potency under a protective coating of shellac. The ball's south panel boasts the autographs of (6) Hall of Famers, applied in consecutive order, including Robinson and Campanella, making this the panel to face forward. The evenly toned ball's factory labeling stamps retain a decent degree of integrity, and the overall presentation is very satisfying.
