Accessorize in style, with this pair of 1948 Boston Braves World Series sterling silver cufflinks. While the current Atlanta Braves have been crushing it as regular postseason participants over the 30+ years, you have to go all the way back to 1800s, to find their last period of prolonged success. From the 1870s-1890s, the franchise won 12 pennants while located in Boston. Between then and the 1990s, they finished first just 4 times, and these regal adornments are scarce representatives of the 1948 NL championship campaign. Crafted by renowned jeweler Balfour, these silver sleeve fasteners are of the same design as the Boston Braves 1948 World Series press pin, fashioned as a die cut noble Native American Chief, with full red and white headdress. Both have the maker's "LGB Sterling" hallmark on the back, and both have functioning original fasteners attached. The one facing left presents in (NM) condition, with light toning. The one facing right has a small chip on the tip of the top feather, and otherwise shows EX details, with moderate toning.

Opening Bid $200.
