In the end, John Lennon made his final album "Double Fantasy" in 1980. Recorded with his wife Yoko Ono at The Hit Factory in New York City, this album was released just a few weeks prior to Lennon's murder on 12/8/80. On hand to document the former Beatle’s work on the Double Fantasy album, was photographer David Spindel, who did a brilliant job of capturing Lennon in action. Rock your party room, with this pair of John Lennon compilation prints by Spindel.

Sized to command attention with dimensions of 40x30, with a 1-1/2” deep backer, the larger of the (2) prints is a vibrant presentation depicting Lennon in a variety of poses, including playing the keyboard, playing guitar, having a smoke, and facing his world audience. Minor wear is noted at the top left corner, and the bottom edge of the backer has a 3" section of surface loss, otherwise this mesmerizing piece remains in solid condition. Spindel has signed at bottom right, and the piece is hand-numbered "62/300" at bottom left.

Accompanying, is an eight-panel art print by Spindel. One of the last professional shots taken of Lennon, this piece features a haunting image, repeated in eight various colors. This bold 40 x 26-1/2" photo art print is also mounted on a 1-1/2" deep backer. A very small chip is noted at the top left corner, and the laminated edge of the backer shows moderate wear at several points, however this condition is only detectable upon close inspection, and display appeal pins the needle with this captivating creation. Limited edition numbering of "62/300" has been applied at the bottom left corner, and Spindel’s signature is located at the bottom right corner.

Opening Bid $100.
