“Chief Wahoo” flashes a big smile, with this c.1940s-1950s Stanford Pottery Cleveland Indians mascot statue bank. A classic ceramic creation, this 8” icon radiates display appeal.  Nearly as fresh as the day it first came out of the firing kiln, this vintage figure shows vibrant colors, and outstanding gloss integrity. The surface is free of crazing, and wear is negligible, however a few minor factory flaws are noted, the worst of which is a 1/4” diameter spot on the right side of the head, where the glaze didn’t take properly.
