Join the crew of the PT-73 for a riotous collecting adventure, with this 1965 Fleer McHale's Navy complete graded set (65). Based on the South Pacific island Taratupa during WWII, Ensign McHale and his opportunistic men spent their time alternately confounding the Imperial Japanese Navy, and their base commander, Captain Wally "Leadbottom" Binghamton, while also pursuing the good life. Their zany adventures are captured by this set's obverse photos, which were taken from the show, while the reverses are printed with a series of jokes. Though the bulk of this high grade offering have been graded by PSA, (2) cards are encapsulated by SGC.
The grade breakdown is as follows:
PSA MINT 9 (7) cards with numbers: 7, 11, 13, 26, 36, 58, 61;
