Be amazed, with this 1969 New York Mets World Series champions team-signed baseball. Dubbed the "Amazin' Mets" by the wizened "Ol' Perfessor" himself, Casey Stengel, the '69 Mets swept the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS, despite home runs by Hank Aaron in each of the three games. In the World Series, these "Miracle Mets" made relatively short work of the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles, holding the O's to just 9 runs in a tidy five-game match, that was truly a "Fall Classic". This period signed Spalding Official Pro League ball is adorned with (24) 1969 Mets autographs ranging ("6" to "8") in potency, including Hall of Famers Gil Hodges, Nolan Ryan, and "Yogi" Berra, along with Dan Frisella, who met his fate on New Year's Day 1977, in a dune buggy accident.
