Along with Al Simmons, Jimmie Foxx and Mickey Cochrane formed the heart of the Philadelphia A's batting order from 1928-1932. This period marked the last of Connie Mack's great dynasties, when his A's beat out the mighty New York Yankees for the AL pennant three seasons running, from 1929-1931. The "Mackmen" also won back-to-back World Series championships in 1929 and 1930. "Black Mike" and "The Beast" are teamed for collecting posterity, with this dual-signed album page. Measuring approximately 4 x 5-1/2" , this crisp, clean sheet hosts 9 strength autograph examples by the long-deceased Foxx and Cochrane, who both won multiple MVP awards during their Hall of Fame careers.
