Lot Description  

The pitcher-turned-cartoonist was commissioned for these (14) different 1947 Signal Gasoline PCL singles. These classic etchings include the following players: Hollywood Stars: (11 cards) with T. Davis (EX-MT), Dykes (VG), Haney (VG-EX), Kelleher (EX), Libke (EX), Resigno (VG-EX), Sherman (EX), Skurski (EX-MT), Unser (EX), F. Vaughn (VG), Zernial (VG-EX); Los Angeles Angels: (3 cards) with Chambers (VG), Lynn (VG-EX) and Stringer (EX-MT).
