One of the great prizes of basketball collecting is spotlighted, with this Pete Maravich signed personal check display. Tragically, we were robbed of the mercurial Maravich in 1988, when he succumbed to heart failure at the age of 40. One of the most creative and dynamic offensive performers of all-time, Maravich is fondly remembered with this massive 33-1/2 x 32" framed display. At center, is a Maravich signed ("8-9") St. Tammany National Bank check, dated 4/25/86. Orbiting this coveted autograph, are six photos of "Pistol Pete" from his days at LSU. Also noted, are five LSU basketball cards, in holders that are affixed to the front of the glass. The frame suffers moderate corner wear, but remains serviceable. Comes with full photo LOA from PSA/DNA; and an LOA signed by Maravich's widow, Jackie Maravich.
Frames included with lots: while we make every effort to protect the frames included in these lots during pre-auction storage and post-auction shipping, we are not responsible for any damage to the frames themselves, and no refunds will be given due to frame damage.
