Chosen as leading contributors to the success of the team formerly known as the Redskins over the years, these gridiron stalwarts have also excelled in the autograph department, by providing average ("9-10") strength signatures, most with pertinent inscriptions, on generally attractive cards that date from 1948-2002. A total of (17) are noted as rookie cards, and the other (4) are vintage examples that are fifty to seventy+ years old. Leading the charge are Hall of Famers Bill Dudley, Chris Hanburger, Paul Krause, Dick Stanfel and Charley Taylor, along with stars Clinton Portis and Mark Rypien.
