Near-set (493/500) 1936-1937 Greilig Bunte Filmbilder (Colorful Film Pictures) range (EX to NM). Beautiful gold border cards that present handsomely overall, with just very minor wear on the condition sensitive corners of a minority of the cards. This set comes in two sizes, with (296) 1-3/8 x 2-3/8"; and (197) 2-1/4 x 2-3/4". The most popular card by far, #56 Laurel & Hardy, is present and accounted for. Other major stars of note are Shirley Temple, Greta Garbo, Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich, and many more. Note: Also present are (3) assorted Greilig Shirley Temple with different brand advertising.
Near-set (268/275) 1933 Bulgaria Bunten Filmbilder (Colorful Film Pictures). Another very attractive gold border series that is very pleasing, though moderately curled around the edges, limiting the grade range to (EX to NM). Top stars are Shirley Temple, Greta Garbo, and several Marlene Dietrich.
