Anybody can own one of Mickey Mantle's 1960 Post cards, hand-cut from boxes of Grape-Nuts and other cereals. But only ONE collector can own the actual $1,000 endorsement contract granting permission for the Mick's involvement. It features his beautiful, blue-ballpoint "9" signature on behalf of Mickey Mantle Enterprises, which was based out of the Biltmore Hotel. Condition of the 8-1/2" x 11" page is EX-MT aside from routine filing folds, staple marks and binder holes. Text reads, in part, "...my consent and authorization to use my name, biographical material, photograph or picture of me wearing the uniform and authorized insignia of the New York Yankees Baseball Club, and my signature which appears below and facsimiles thereof, for advertising purposes and for the purposes of trade, on packages of Post Cereals of all sizes, manufactured by General Foods Corporation, Post Division, during the period of one (1) year commencing November 1, 1959, for subsequent sale."
