Early 1950s Major League Baseball is well represented with this multi-signed album. This vintage treasure is loaded with (120+) signatures, that are mostly different baseball players. With the front cover absent and the back cover in pieces, the 4-1/2 x 6" album is held together with a maroon shoestring binder. Two pages are detached with chipped edges, though none of the signatures are affected. Most pages are signed on one side, though several do have names on both sides. Overall signature strength averages a very pleasing ("8-9"), with deference to a few slightly lesser. Auction LOA from JSA.
Highlights are Hall of Famers: Ted Williams (solo on a page), Joe DiMaggio, Larry Doby, Lou Boudreau, Bobby Doerr, Ralph Kiner (solo on a page), Nellie Fox, Luke Appling, Johnny Mize (solo on a page), "Pee Wee" Reese (X2), Joe Gordon, Bob Lemon, Early Wynn and Bob Feller.
