Here we have a delicate, die-cut-paper crown (6x11) from the Cleveland preliminaries of the 1955 Miss America Pageant, featuring the image of winner Lee Meriweather and the vintage pencil "8-9" signatures of Bronx Bombers Ford, Rizzuto, Mantle, Berra, Frank Leja, Joe Collins, Andy Carey, Phil Rizzuto, Bob Wiesler, Charlie Silvera, Bob Cerv and Irv Noren. Trimmed at the left edge with a handful of horizontal fold lines visible on both sides (which probably saved the relic from damage over these many decades of storage), otherwise clean.
