The grandfather of super-heroes zooms into action with this 1950s-1960s Superman related comic book lot of (40). Unleashed upon the enemies of Earth in 1938, the "Man of Steel" has been fighting for "truth, justice and the American way" for an incredible eighty years now. Over this lengthy period, fans have thrilled and delighted to the many different issues and titles featuring this iconic character and his many friends, extended family and a parade of colorful villains. This bundle of better grade Silver Age issues has been kept in storage by its conservation minded original owner since he purchased them as a youth and evidence of his thoughtful care of these comic gems is expressed in a very desirable grade range of (80% FN-VF 7.0 to VF-NM 9.0, 20% GD-VG 3.0 to FN 6.0).
