Hall of Fame Rookie Card! Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. After more than two decades in the Negro Leagues and barnstorming across the globe, a 42 year-old Leroy (Satchel) Paige finally realized his big league dreams for the 1948 Cleveland Indians. The Hall of Fame twirler is showcased on his 1949 Bowman Baseball #224 rookie card. This properly centered high number displays only negligible traces of perimeter wear including evenly tipped corners. Although the registration is slightly muted, the immortal is still instantly recognizable. The reverse touting Paige as "One of the most fabulous characters in baseball" is problem-free.
