T206 Rare Back Collectors! Incredible 1909-11 T206 White Borders Hal Chase (Blue Portrait) flanked by a bright Red Hindu advertising back! As perhaps the most collected non-Hall of Famer from the T206 series, Hal Chase has garnered legions of admirers in the century since his playing days. The Red Hindu reverse is currently ranked as the seventh most difficult and population reports lend credence to its overall scarcity. According to industry leaders PSA and SGC, a total of six Chase copies (regardless of pose) with Hindu (SGC does not distinguish between brown and red backs) reverses have been evaluated. This particular copy presents much nicer than the assigned grade with accurate centering, three well formed corners and clean edges along with a crease-free surface with soft color accents. A hint of paper pulling is barely detectable on one letter of the "Different" advertising text. Otherwise, the coveted brand backing is crisp and instantly attractive.
