Although they lost their beloved Oriole Park to a suspicious fire in July of 1944, the Baltimore Orioles overcame that obstacle to best the Louisville Colonels in the Little World Series. Presented is a pair of souvenir pieces attributed to the contests. Included are 1.) gatefold roster card. The cover announces the contest was to be held at Baltimore Municipal Stadium, while the gatefold contains the rosters for each team. The back cover is a campaign advertisement for the distributor of this ephemeron. The Orioles minor league collectible reveals extensive creasing and a combination of wear including tearing, tape residue, pencil markings and other flaws and 2.) full-size 1944 Little World Series roster pennant. The moderately soiled 29-1/2" felt with a partially separated tip and moderately frayed spine displays crisp applique and a very small hole in the name of Kleckley.
