With the world championship on the line in Game 7 of the 1926 Fall Classic, Babe Ruth hit the eighth of his 15 career World Series home runs. But it was the Bambino’s risky base running that ultimately made the difference. Representing the potential tying run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Ruth was gunned down on an attempted steal of second base to end the series. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Yankee Stadium for that dramatic clincher. The colorful voucher features printed seating/event details, as well as the facsimile signature of Yankees president Jacob Ruppert. One of six at its tier with only four graded higher, this Bronx keepsake is crease-free with sharp edges/corners and a pristine obverse. This item has a reserve (estimated value: $2000-$4000).
