This particular Sax 3-D mural study composition is entitled “Bob Gibson – Batting Cage.” Measuring 31-3/4”-wide and 8-3/4”-tall, the piece is comprised of stand-up cardboard figures with Bob Gibson as the centerpiece. Portrayed as he appeared in the opener of the 1968 World Series, Gibson (who fanned 17 that day) is angled toward first base.
