For the better part of six decades, the Liberty Bowl has pitted two fine college football squads in an annual December game in Memphis, Tennessee. Presented is a group of (36) Liberty Bowl programs and media guides. The majority of these programs, which grade in the (EX-MT) range, have moderate wear with some better and others lesser. Included programs are 1970s: 1970 (hole punches), 1971 (hole punches), 1972 (hole punches), 1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978; 1980s: 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989; 1990s: 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, (2) 1997, 1998, 1999; 2000s: 2001, (3) 2002, 2003 and (3) 2004. Also included are (3) 1980s Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper Liberty Bowl programs (VG), a 1997 Liberty Bowl media guide (EX, with two signatures), a 2004 Liberty Bowl field pass (NM) and (24) assorted 2001 XFL Memphis Maniax game programs.
