The last U.S. President to have served in the Civil War, 25th Chief Executive William McKinley successfully campaigned for the Oval Office in 1896 as the subject of this banner. Framed to 23-3/4 x 17-1/2”, the cloth relic showcases a black-and-white portrait of the former Ohio Governor with a blue background flecked with white five-point stars. Accenting the piece is a scroll which reads “Patriotism Protection & Prosperity.” The detailed antique piece presents wonderfully and is a welcome addition to any Americana collection.
