As he (successfully) campaigned for U.S. Presidency in either 1912 or 1916, former Chief Executive Woodrow Wilson appeared on this American flag-themed banner. Framed to 33x17, the felt display showcases a stars-and-stripes pattern with an appliqué likeness of Wilson at the far left, surrounded by 13 five-point stars. Multi-colored tassels are sewn along the lower border. The vintage relic was most appropriate, as it was Wilson who ordered the Star-Spangled Banner to be played at appropriate events beginning in 1916. This White House relic displays beautifully.
