Throughout the mid 1970s the offensive force that was the Cincinnati Reds wreaked havoc on National League pitching staffs en route to two World Series Championships. The “Big Red Machine” included a lineup that boasted Bench, Concepcion, Morgan, Perez and Rose. This pair of Big Red Machine items features a multi-signed bat and 16x20 photograph. The bat hails from the Cooperstown Collection “Special Edition” series. The lumber brandishes a “Big Red Machine” decal along with the autographs of Bench, Morgan, Perez and Rose on the barrel in black sharpie (all “10”). Accompanying the bat is a certificate that states the date it was signed and gives the piece a serial number of 115/500. An additional multi-signed 16x20 photograph with blue sharpie autographs from Anderson, Bench, Morgan, Perez and Rose (all “9-10”) is also present. The signatures on these quality display items come with an auction COA from James Spence Authentications.
