Constituting half of the entire production run, the offered lot contains a pair of beautiful Marvin Miller single-signed Cooperstown Bats. Measuring 34-inches long, both bats have been boldly signed in blue sharpie (both “10”) and feature MLBPA Executive Director 1966-83 etchings on the barrels. The knobs display the bats’ limited edition status, marked as (#2/4) and (#4/4) respectively. According to Hall of Fame announcer Red Barber, “Marvin Miller, along with Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson, is one of the two or three most important men in baseball history." Miller’s contributions to the game, including strengthening the Players Union and the incredible salary increases during his tenure, are immeasurable, and to this day, he remains arguably the most prime candidate for Hall of Fame induction.
