On his way to N.L. MVP plaudits, Triple Crown threat Willie McCovey entered the 1969 All-Star Game with 30 home runs and a .325 average. Exhibition or not, McCovey treated the Mid-Summer Classic like any other in the pennant race, belting two home runs to take MVP honors in that contest. Graded Good 2 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at RFK Stadium for that 1969 All-Star tilt. The lone specimen at its tier with only six graded higher, the voucher presents nicely with strong perforations and a clean reverse.
