This Republican-themed collection of vintage political collectibles includes artifacts from the 1920s through the 1980s. The grouping was amassed by a woman from Ohio who followed the political races with great care. The lot contains (150+) political pins and buttons with most relating to Alf Landon or Richard Nixon. The buttons/pins range in size from 1/4" to 3" in diameter and range in grade from Good to Near Mint. The second portion of the collection includes many letters to local Congressman and state senators. These correspondences also include greeting cards (autopen) and many original envelopes. The dates of the letters go back into the 1920s with some, not all, of the signatures autopen. The remainder of the collection includes items such as a Mr. Republican child's T-shirt, some painted Landon feathers, tickets to the 1936 Republican National Convention and a pair of books about Teddy Roosevelt.
