While there were seven Ringling brothers, Alfred, Charles, John, Al and Otto Ringling were the main brothers in charge of the circus shows. Their creation ultimately merged with Barnum & Bailey Circus to become Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1919 and operated continuously since. This copy of Dickens Works, Vol III contains David Copperfield Part II. It is embossed with Al Ringling's name on the cover as it was from his personal collection.
